Third-generation driver Erick Rudolph was the winner of the Krown Undercoating 358 Modified feature on Friday night at Ransomville Speedway. Chris Burek won his first Investors Service Sportsman feature of the season, and Robbie Johnston won his second feature of the season for the Stevenson’s Hardware Novice Sportsman. The Gippsters Collision 4 Bangers feature was called after five laps due to rain.

Kenny Wills and Allan Wills brought the Modifieds to the green flag for their 30-lap feature, with Kenny Wills getting the lead over his cousin Allan. Racing in the top five for much of the race, Rudolph and Ryan Susice battled for the lead and the win as the laps wound down. After Kenny Wills slowed on the main straightaway to bring out the caution on Lap 24, a six-lap shootout saw Rudolph take off and pull away from Susice and Pete Bicknell to score his second win of the season.

Dave Conant and Noah Walker led the field of the Investors Service Sportsman to the green flag for their 25-lap feature with Conant showing the way. Walker spun in Turn 3 to bring out the race's first caution, and Chris Burek took the lead on the Lap 1 restart with Derrick Borkenhagen, Austin Susice and Greg Martin racing inside the top five. Conant caught Burek with five laps remaining and would make contact coming into Turn 3 with two laps to go, but Burek held off Conant to score his first feature win of the season. Burek became the sixth different winner in six races.

The 60th season of racing at the “Big R” will continue on Friday, July 14 as Regional Haulage presents a full card of racing plus power wheel races and the remaining 10 laps for the Gippsters Collision 4 Bangers feature.
