When the green flag flies for the first time at Ransomville Speedway in 2017, drivers will be racing against the clock, as on Friday, April 28, VP Racing Fuels presents Test, Tune and Time at 7:15 p.m. Gates will open at 6 p.m.
The pole winners of the Krown Undercoating of Ransomville 358 Modifieds and the Investors Service Sportsman will each receive a 55-gallon drum of VP Racing Fuel. The Hot Wheels Traction Lab Front Row Shootout will be sponsoring the time trials for the Stevenson’s Hardware Novice Sportsman. “Hot Wheels” Greg Martin will be putting up $100 and $50 for the front row for the Novice Sportsman. Anyone wishing to sponsor the front row for the KiPo Chevrolet Street Stocks and the Gippsters Collision 4 Bangers are encouraged to contact the Speedway office at 716-791-3602, email the office at email@example.com, or message them through the Ransomville Speedway Facebook page. The fastest two time trailers in each class will set the front row for the features on Opening Day, Friday, May 5.
“In order to be time trialed, all cars must have transponders,” said Race Director Jeff Anstett. “We will have transponders available for rent, but you must have the transponder mount on your car.”
Friday, May 5 will be the 60th season opener presented by VP Racing Small Engine Fuels featuring a full card of racing of Krown Undercoating of Ransomville 358 Modifieds, Investors Service Sportsman, KiPo Chevrolet Street Stocks, Gippsters Collision 4 Bangers and the Stevenson’s Hardware Novice Sportsman.
Ticket are still available for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Cars, which return to Ransomville on Sunday, July 23. The only way to purchase tickets to see the anticipation return of the “Greatest Show on Dirt” is Tickets can be purchased through the DIRTcar Ticket office online at www.dirtcar.ticketforce.com or by phone by calling 844-DIRT-TIX. The Investors Service Sportsman will join the Outlaws at the Big R Outlaw Shootout with a $750-to-win event. The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Cars event at Ransomville culminates a three-day weekend featuring the 60th Anniversary Celebration on Friday, July 21 and a Classic Car Show on Saturday, July 22.
