Racing at the “Little R” kicks off on May 11

Thursday night racing returns to Ransomville Speedway this summer with go-kart action taking place on the 1/4-mile “Little R.”

The go-kart program schedule kicks off on Thursday, May 11 with heats beginning at 7 p.m. Racing will take place nearly every Thursday night through Championship Night on August 31 (exception: the Summer Break night off on Thursday, July 20) and the popular Powder Puff race will take place on Thursday, August 10. The go-kart banquet and non-points fun race will be held on Sunday, September 10. Tim Phillips from Tim Phillips Garage will once again sponsor the Senior Light Go-Kart division. His son is a multi-time kart champion at Ransomville and Merrittville, and has several wins with the NYDKS Tour. Former Pro Stock and Sportsman campaigner Mike Martin and his business Finish Line Auto Detail have renewed its sponsorship of the Senior Heavy class.
