The World of Outlaws Late Model Series recently released its 2017 schedule, with numerous stops at Ontario and Pennsylvania dirt tracks five hours or less from the Buffalo area.
The 2017 WoO Late Model Series schedule, which begins in early February in Georgia and Florida, will make its first scheduled nearby stop on Saturday, June 17 at Brighton Speedway in Ontario, just under four hours from Buffalo. The Late Models then visit Cornwall Motor Speedway in Ontario on Sunday, June 18 – the track is less than five hours from the Buffalo area.
One of the premier events on the Late Model schedule is the three-day Firecracker 100 at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania – approximately 3.5 hours from Buffalo – taking place Thursday through Saturday, June 22-24.
The series hits two more Pennsylvania tracks in August: Port Royal Speedway – approximately 4.5 hours from WNY – on Saturday, August 19 and Eriez Speedway in Erie – less than two hours from Buffalo – on Sunday, August 20.
The Late Models return to Lernerville on Saturday, September 2 then visits Selinsgrove Speedway in Pennsylvania, approximately four hours from the Buffalo area, on Sunday, September 3.
