Some of NASCAR’s top series will be visiting tracks near the Western New York area during the 2017 season, including an annual visit to the Finger Lakes region.
Watkins Glen International, approximately 2.5 hours from Buffalo, will host the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series and K&N Pro Series East during the annual event, August 4-6.
“The Steel Palace,” Oswego Speedway, will host the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour on Labor Day weekend, Saturday, September 2. Oswego is located about 2.5 hours from the Buffalo area near Syracuse.
North of the border, the Camping World Truck Series will make its annual stop at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, approximately 2.5 hours from Buffalo (excluding border delays), on Sunday, September 3. The track, located in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada, will also host the NASCAR Pinty’s Series on the same day.
The Pinty’s Series will also race at Toronto’s Exhibition Place on Saturday, July 15 as part of the Verizon IndyCar Series’ annual event. Exhibition Place is about 90 minutes from the Buffalo area (excluding border delays).
