Lancaster National Speedway & Dragway closes out July with one the facility's signature events, the Sunday Nostalgia Drag Racing Reunion. The 2016 edition of Sunday Nostalgia Weekend will take place Friday through Sunday, July 29-31, and features three days of drag racing and a classic car show.

The action starts Friday, July 29 with Lancaster’s weekly Franco’s Pizza Friday Night IHRA Drag Racing program. The program features five classes of racing, including Mallare Enterprises Top, McGard Mod, Hebeler's Sales Sleds & Bikes, Tread City Tire Street and a special Nostalgia Eliminator class for cars from 1980 or earlier.

The Saturday, July 30 show will be headlined by the Gasser Racing Series and the ninth annual meeting of the Nostalgia AA Gassers. There will be two additional classes of racing for cars from 1980 or earlier. Following the racing program fans and racers are invited to stick around for the induction ceremony of the second class of the Lancaster National Dragway Wall of Fame. There will be a chicken barbecue dinner (tickets are $13) plus live music following the induction ceremony.

Sunday, July 31 will be highlighted by the Clutch Artists of Buffalo car show on the infield of the stock car oval. Entry into the car show is just $20. The car show is open to vehicles from any production year. The on-track action will be headlined by Top Eliminator, which will feature an eight-car field, running heads up on a pro (.400) tree with $1,500 going to the winner. Five additional classes of racing (Nostalgia AA Gassers, Competition Eliminator, Little Eliminator, Nostalgia Gas (period correct cars from 1966 and older) and Street Eliminator) will be on hand with vehicles from 1980 or earlier.
