“The Ransomville Renegade,” Ryan Susice, took the victory in the A-Main for the Southern Ontario Sprints (SOS) on Zanchin Truck & Trailer Night Sunday at Humberstone Speedway. Former Mr. DIRT Sportsman titlist Brad Rouse won his first PC Works DIRTcar Sportsman feature event of 2016, while Rob Pietz won his first Pinty’s RUSH Late Model feature of the season. Bill Bleich Jr. won his first JC Auto Street Stock feature of the season and Dylan Llord picked up his second Mike Knapp Ford Pro 4 Trucks win, while Evan Curtis took his second win in the Cosco Haulage Mini Stocks.
Susice took the lead on Lap 6 of the A-Main, holding off a late race challenge from Dylan Westbrook to pick up his first career win in a 360 Sprint Car. The SOS returns to Humberstone on Sunday, August 7.
Matt Farnham and Rouse led the PC Works DIRTcar Sportsman to the green flag for their 25-lap feature, with Farnham and Rouse trading the lead in the early stages. Rouse took the lead for good after a Lap 8 caution and pulled away from the rest of the field to win his first Humberstone Sportsman feature in 2016.
Next Sunday, June 12, Super Mario’s Pizza presents the racing program with the Vintage Cars on the card in addition to the DIRTcar Sportsman, RUSH Late Models, Street Stocks, Pro 4 Trucks and Mini Stocks.
