National weekend wrap-up: June 3-6, 2016

Sprint Cup Series – Kurt Busch won the rain-delayed Axalta We Paint Winners 400 at Pocono Raceway on Monday, besting Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Brad Keselowski. Rookie Chase Elliott and Joey Logano rounded out the top five.

Xfinity Series – Kyle Larson won the rain-shortened Pocono Green 250 at Pocono on Saturday, the first time the Xfinity Series has raced at the track. Erik Jones finished second, followed by Ty Dillon, Kyle Busch and Logano.

NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series – Antron Brown (Top Fuel), Ron Capps (Funny Car) and Greg Anderson (Pro Stock) picked up Wallys in the rain-delayed NHRA New England Nationals at New England Dragway on Monday.

Verizon IndyCar Series – the IndyCars raced back-to-back at the Raceway at Belle Isle Park in Detroit, with Sebastien Bourdais picking up the checkered flag in Saturday’s feature. Conor Daly was runner-up, followed by Juan Pablo Montoya, Graham Rahal and Helio Castroneves. On Sunday, Will Power picked up his first win since May 2015 over Simon Pagenaud and Ryan Hunter-Reay. Josef Newgarden and Scott Dixon rounded out the top five.
