East Concord’s Zach Myers took the win in the Getzoni Nationwide Insurance Agency NASCAR Pro Chargers on Kwik Fill Night at Holland International Speedway on Saturday night, June 25. Jody Bound from Uxbridge, Ontario claimed the victory in the inaugural visit by the Canadian Outlaw Midgets presented by Country 89 and Ben Russo from Lancaster won the Bank of Holland Hornet feature. Dave Wollaber from North Tonawanda picked up his second win NYPA TQ Midgets at Holland and Carl Vilardo IV from Westfield won in the Advance Auto Parts INEX Legends. James Steins from South Wales won his second consecutive M&M U Pull-It Figure 8 feature and Dale Lombardo was victorious in the Rookie 4’s.
Myers took the lead from Jim Mallaber on Lap 10 and pulled away to score his second win of the season. Tim and Nik Welshans finished third and fourth, respectively, with Josh Hathaway rounding out the top five.

Bound dominated the Canadian Outlaw Midgets event, followed by Dave Bradley in second. Steve Lassman, Adam Carrothers and Wayne Mckibbon rounded out the top five. Bound was also victorious in the Outlaw Midgets Dash. The Canadian Outlaw Midgets will return to Holland on Saturday, July 23.
Craig Orr crossed the finish line first in the Hornets feature but was found to be illegal in post-race tech, giving the win to Russo. Josh Hill finished second, followed to the line by Bob Bogner, George Anthony and Jeff Szafraniec.
Wollaber took the lead on Lap 14 of the TQ Midget feature, passing Kyle Hutchinson on the front straightaway. A six-lap late-race shootout saw Hutchinson look underneath Wollaber for the lead but Wollaber held the lead by a car length at the line on Lap 15. Hutchinson continued to challenge Wollaber but was unable to get past him. Shawn Nye, Andrew Nye and Vinnie Christiano Jr. completed the top five.
The Race of Champions Modified Tour returns to Holland on Saturday, July 9 for a 100-lap feature. Joining the RoC Modifieds will be the Chargers, NYPA TQ Midgets and the Hornets. Pit gates will open at 2:30 p.m. while grandstands open at 4:30 p.m. Qualifying gets underway at 5 p.m., followed immediately by features. Find out more at www.hollandspeedway.com.
