Jay Mallory from St. Catharines, Ontario was the winner in the PC Works DIRTcar Sportsman feature on Super Mario’s Pizza Night at Humberstone Speedway Sunday evening, while Colton Ledingham won in the Pinty’s RUSH Late Models. Rob Murray from St. Catharines won his second JC Auto Street Stock feature of the season, while Dylan Llord from St. Catharines picked up his third Mike Knapp Ford Pro 4 Trucks feature of the season. Tony Kelly from Niagara Falls, Ontario won his first Cosco Haulage Mini Stocks feature of the season, and Mark Shadwell from Hamilton, Ontario won the Vintage Car feature.
Dylan Davidson showed the way early in the Sportsman feature, but Mallory got underneath Davidson to take over the lead on Lap 7 and never looked back. Davidson, Cody McPherson, Brad Rouse, and Matt Sharpe rounded out the top five.
Ledingham led all 20 laps in the RUSH Late Model feature to pick up his first win of the season. Rob Pietz, John McIntire, Dennis Lunger Jr. and Jeff Dayman finished second through fifth, respectively.
Bring your Dad to the races next Sunday, June 19, for the Father’s Day Special presented by Brian’s Tire Repair. The Street Stocks, who will be featured in their second home track race as part of the Duel on the Dirt, join the DIRTcar Sportsman, RUSH Late Models, Pro 4 Trucks and Mini Stocks as part of the program, which will also feature an autograph session.
