Bill Bleich Jr. won Sunday’s JC Auto Street Stock Duel on the Dirt Home Race at Humberstone Speedway, his second win the past three races. Joining Bleich Jr. in victory lane were Brad Rouse in PC Works DIRTcar Sportsman, Dennis Lunger Jr. in Pinty’s Delicious Foods RUSH Late Model competition, Craig Vlasic in Mike Knapp Ford Pro 4 Trucks and Kyle Haynes in Cosco Haulage Mini Stock.
Bleich Jr. took over the lead with four laps to go in the Street Stock feature and scored the victory over Rob Murray, Chris Crawford and Dave Bailey who went three wide across the line for second place. Rouse took the lead on Lap 20 of the Sportsman event and held off Cody McPherson to score the win; Chad Chevalier, Justin Sharp and Tyler Puchalski completed the top five.
Lunger Jr. took control of the field on Lap 7 of the RUSH Late Model feature, picking up the win over Paul Grigsby with Sam Pennacchio, Jeff Dayman and Ken Winfield rounding out the top five. Vlasic and jumped out to the early lead in the Pro 4 Trucks before losing the top spot to Tony Spitery on Lap 7; Spitery and Frank Perry made contact coming into Turn 4, and Vlasic went around both drivers to pick up the win, his first of the season. Haynes took the lead for good on Lap 11 of the Mini Stock feature, holding off Evan Curtis to pick up the win; Garnet Wilson, Rob Goudling and Nick Sarantakos rounded out the top five.
The month of June wraps up with the inaugural visit for the 602 Crate Sprint Cars from Ohsweken Speedway, joining the DIRTcar Sportsman, RUSH Late Models, Street Stocks, Pro 4 Trucks and the Mini Stocks.
