John Waters from Whitesville, NY won the Sweeney Chevrolet, Buick GMC RUSH Late Model Touring Series feature Sunday night, John Puhl Memorial Night, at the Humberstone Speedway in Port Colborne, Ontario.
Waters took the lead on Lap 18 of the feature to earn his third consecutive RUSH Late Model Touring Series event at Humberstone. Mike Pegher finished second, followed by Bryce Davis, Jason Knowles and Brian Knowles.
“Man I love this place,” said Waters in victory lane. “It fits my driving style so well and I just love running here.”
Cody McPherson from St. Catharines, Ontario won his second feature of the season for the PC Works DIRTcar Sportsman, and Rob Murray, also from St. Catharines, claimed the feature event for the JC Auto Street Stocks. Frank Perry from Burlington, Ontario picked up the win in the Mike Knapp Ford Pro 4 Trucks, and Evan Curtis from Port Colborne picked up the win in the Cosco Haulage Mini Stocks.
