National weekend wrap-up: May 20-22, 2016

Sprint Cup Series – Joey Logano took home $1 million Saturday night, winning the Sprint All-Star Race over his Team Penske teammate Brad Keselowski. Dale Earnhardt Jr. finished third, followed by Carl Edwards and Kurt Busch.

Camping World Truck Series – Matt Crafton took the checkered flag in Saturday’s NC Education Lottery 200, beating Kyle Busch for the top spot for the first time in his career and winning two in a row for the first time. Busch was runner-up to his former groomsman, followed by Johnny Sauter, Tyler Reddick and Matt Tifft.

Verizon IndyCar Series – James Hinchcliffe captured the pole for the 10th running of the Indianapolis 500, taking place Sunday, May 29. Josef Newgarden and Ryan Hunter-Reay join Hinchcliffe on the front row.

NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series – Doug Kalitta (Top Fuel), Matt Hagan (Funny Car) and Jason Line (Pro Stock) earned Wallys on Sunday in the NHRA Kansas Nationals at Heartland Park Topeka. It was the second-straight race all three drivers were in the winner’s circle.
