Sprint Cup Series – Brad Keselowski won the battle of attrition at Talladega Superspeedway Sunday, taking the checkered flag in the Geico 500 ahead of Kyle Busch and Austin Dillon. Jamie McMurray and pole sitter Chase Elliott rounded out the top five at the track one announcer referred to as the “world’s fastest junk yard.”

Xfinity Series – Elliott Sadler was named the winner following a last-lap wreck in Saturday’s Sparks Energy 300 at Talladega – a race that third-place finisher Brennan Poole thought he had won. Justin Allgaier finished second, while Jeremy Clements and Brendan Gaughan finished fourth and fifth, respectively.

NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series – Courtney Force (Funny Car) returned to the winner’s circle for the first time since St. Louis in 2014 with a win at the NHRA SpringNationals at Royal Purple Raceway near Houston, Texas. Doug Kalitta (Top Fuel) and Greg Anderson (Pro Stock) also took home Wallys from RPR.
