Lancaster National Speedway & Dragway has announced its continued marketing partnership with the biggest supporter of its weekly IHRA Drag Racing program, Franco's Pizza. Franco's has signed on for a second year as the title sponsor of Lancaster National Dragway's schedule of Friday night race events. The Franco's Pizza Friday Night IHRA Drag Racing Series at Lancaster is building on a successful 2015 season that created increased car counts along with new and improved special events.
“This partnership started last year and it is great to see Franco’s Pizza return to support our Drag Racing program this year,” said Tim Packman, Lancaster National Speedway & Dragway Track President. “They felt their exposure and return on investment was strong enough last year to return this year and it is greatly appreciated. In turn, we get to serve a great pizza on all of our event nights to the fans and race teams of Lancaster. We are looking for a great year and having Franco’s on board again is an even greater way to start off 2016.”
Franco’s Pizza has been making pizza in Western New York for more than 35 years, with five locations serving Northern Erie and Niagara Counties. In addition to their delicious pizza, Franco’s also serves chicken wings, subs, tacos and salads.
Lancaster National Dragway kicks off the 2016 season for the Franco's Pizza Drag Racing program on Saturday, April 17 with a Box/No Box Shootout. Friday night drag racing for points begins on April 29. Weekly classes include: Mallare Enterprises Top ET, McGard Mod ET, Sleds & Bikes and Street.
In addition to their support of on-track action, Franco's will remain the official pizza of Lancaster National Speedway & Dragway in 2016. Race fans will be able to enjoy hot and delicious Franco's Pizza at the track, which will be served at the speedway concession stand.
